Our representation has extended to situations involving lending institutions, credit card companies, and title insurance companies.
Representing both landlords and tenants in a variety of real property-related situations, including but not limited to: summary eviction proceedings, retaliatory eviction, non-payment actions, holdover proceedings, lease preparation and review, and issues regarding proprietary lease agreements.
We defend both homeowners and investors from foreclosure in both commercial and individual real estate transactions. We also work out mortgage modifications pursuant to federally-enacted HAMP and/or other banking modification programs.
UNCONTESTED MATRIMONIAL DISSOLUTION We represent parties negotiating uncontested divorce, child support, and spousal support issues, to be incorporated into a final uncontested stipulation of divorce.
We represent business clients and aggrieved individuals in employment-related issues, including but not limited to: executive compensation issues, wrongful termination, discrimination, EEOC discrimination complaints, ADA disability claims, unemployment representation, drafting noncompetition agreements, and wage claims.

FEDERAL and STATE GOVERNMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS We represent both individuals and businesses defending against governmental violations related to New York state and federal labor laws, IRS claims, offer in compromise agreements, securities violations, and other governmental inquiries.
APPELLATE PRACTICE Mr. Peska has briefed, argued and won appeals at the Appellate Division: First Department, Appellate Division: Second Department, Appellate Division: Third Department and the Appellate Term for the Ninth & Tenth Judicial Districts.
CONSUMER PRACTICE We represent individuals seeking both monetary and equitable remedies under the Deceptive Business Practices Act, which is designed to protect the consumers from fraudulent business practices.
LIMITED BANKRUPTCY ADVISEMENT & REPRESENTATION The firm does not specialize in bankruptcy law, however understanding the significance of bankruptcy law within the present state of the economy, the firm will provide general advisement with respect to the legal implications of a bankruptcy filing on both creditor and debtor side. Of counsel appearances on behalf of debtors at 341 hearings and general representation of creditors within the bankruptcy forum.
